Monday Mania

This first photo makes me think of Alice and Wonderland when Alice grows really tall!

Since we got back on Saturday we've been super busy. Saturday I had to turn right around and go to work the second I got home. Then Sunday we went to Jon's cousin's first communion ceremony. It was so cute seeing all of the little kids all dressed up! This is the outfit that I wore there. It was such a beautiful day out! Perfect for a polka dot tiered dress!

That leads us up to today which has been the epitome of bad days. Jon went out to cut the lawn and BOOM the garage door breaks! I had to try to help him fix it, but it got ripped off from the track, so it was impossible. So then I had to go wash my work shirt because it was dirty from trying to fix the garage door and I stumbled down the stairs as I was heading back up from the basement! Ouch! Between struggling with the garage and my tumble down the stairs my back has been killing me! I had to call off work to recuperate. On top of that Jon tried to continue to mow the lawn and then our lawn mower fell apart! See, I kid you not when I say it's been a bad day!

These flowers are from my backyard! They are starting to sprout up all over the place!

Tonight when Jon gets home we are going to sit down and seriously look over our plans to move out to California. That's right, Midwest Mayhem may be heading to the west coast. Jon asked me if I'm going to change the name of the blog when we move, but I think I will keep it the same. I've spent 27 years here in the midwest, whether I like it or not I'm a midwest girl at heart. So instead of changing the name I'll continue to represent the midwest, just in a different location for a few years.
