So today Jon and I went out with my step-mom for Tuesday Fall Fun Day! It was great! Okay, well it did rain a bit, but other than that Jon and I had such a wonderful time! Autumn in Michigan can't be beat. Okay, well maybe by the east coast, but as far as the midwest goes we have the most beautiful colors here in the mitten.
We started out by going to a cider mill (where we bought some delicious apple licorice):
Then we went to the cottage:
We did some exploring:
And we went to a pumpkin patch!
I wanted to wear a really autumn inspired outfit, so I went for a lot of brown and burnt orange. Yesterday I was trying to pick something out and my bed was a sea of browns, golds, oranges, and reds. Haha. Finally I decided on this outfit. It was so perfect for exploring in the rain. I wasn't cold at all and my feet didn't get wet! I really like the way the navy tights look with the orange skirt. I think it's a good contrast. I'm suprised I found something that I liked actually because I've been getting kind of bored with my wardrobe as of late.
Overall it was a truly amazing day! I think Jon did a really nice job with the pictures today too. Lately he's been getting bored with taking pictures on our front lawn, but today he was so inspired by the scenery and really enjoyed playing photographer! (Thanks love!)

Wow, look at that, my whole outfit was almost entirely all thrifted! I love when that happens! It makes me feel so good about not having spent tons of money to look stylish.
