So today I wore the romper I mentioned that I bought quite a few posts back. It turns out that it was shipping from Malaysia, so it took awhile to get here.
I love it to death, but once I put it on I didn't think it was very flattering. It has a 'V" shape on the bottom half, which I feel accentuates my hips. However, I must be the only one who feels this way because I got quite a few compliments on it and Jon couldn't stop saying how good I looked all night long!

It's suppose to tie in the back, but I think it looks better tied in the front. I think it helps to distract from the attention-grabbing 'V' shape. Regardless of how it looks on me, I just can't get over how adorable the pattern is. It's so summer-friendly and cute, with balloons, ducks, and ponds. It makes me wish that summer was going to last just a bit longer. I know the weather will probably still be warm for a few more weeks, but the idea that it's now September makes me want to dress more fall appropriate. It was nice to have one last bright summer day though.

Jon and I went to a bowling party for my work tonight. We didn't bowl, but it was still fun. I thought the romper was perfect because it's just casual enough to not be considered over-dressed, yet it's more playful and cute than just shorts and a t-shirt. I wish we'd been able to get outside shots today. This outfit really does deserve to shine in the sun. Jon was up and out the door way before me this morning though, so we didn't get a chance to take pictures until it was already dark outside. Oh well.
