The Red, The White & The Blue

Wow, this week has been full of favorites! This is absolutely my favorite skirt! It's actually a skort/collotes (another thing I seem to be on a role with...) I love the red, white & blue look. I also love a crisp white blouse, it makes any outfit look instantly chic. The pattern on the skirt is also so interesting. It's just all-around amazing.

I really like the lip gloss I'm wearing today, but a) it doesn't stay on long and b) it's a little bit pink-ish. I really wanted a true red for the cruise, so I bought cover girl's outlast all day lip color in ever red-dy and it's perfect!








I did another day of flyering for work today, so I got to be outside all day again. So nice!

Tomorrow is the start of my trip! I'm actually not leaving until Saturday, but tomorrow we're staying at a hotel near the airport, so I'm counting it as the start of the trip. Yay yay yay!!!!!

Pointy Jumper Dress

This is one of my favorite dresses/jumpers of all time! I just love the collar on it. I got a whole bunch of compliments on it today. It's actually kind of a romper/skort/collotes thing. It has a little pair of shorts built in under the skirt. I love rompers, but this is where my dress looses a few points: It is so hard to go to the bathroom. I have to unzip the whole thing and then re-zip when I'm done. It is quite time consuming.

It was so nice outside today! It rained for about 5 minutes, but other than that it was beautiful. I got to drive around and pass out flyers today for work, so I was outside enjoying it all day.














I watched Who the #$&% is Jackson Pollock today. It was really fascinating. It's about a woman who's a truck driver and she buys a painting in a thrift store for $5. She later finds out that it might be a real Jackson Pollock, but the art world is reluctant to believe it despite all kinds of forensic evidence.

Only 2 days until I leave for my cruise!!!! I am sooooo excited! I'm not bringing my computer with me, so I won't be updating for at least a week starting Friday. I shall be bringing my camera though, so there will be tons of pictures when I get back.

Scooter Dress and Polka Dots

Unfortunately my husband did not capture a great photo of my outfit today. All of the pictures were off and we were in a hurry, so that's why you get a cropped photo.

It really is too bad because this is one of my favorite dresses! It use to be my absolute favorite, but now it has some stains on it and I don't really feel comfortable wearing it unless I know it's going to be really dark and no one will see said hideous stains. It was prefect for a night like tonight, because I went to see a movie at midnight.

It's a light blue and has navy blue polka dots. Also, it's polyester and has a butterfly collar. AMAZING!

I'll take better pictures of it next time.
