Post #2 of the day has arrived! I wore this outfit yesterday (Saturday, the dress in post below this was from Friday) for going out to a movie with my husband and a friend. These tights are so wonderfully warm. It's like having a blanket on my legs. I love it.
I don't get a chance to wear this little blue stripped shirt very often, but when I do, I always think it's completely wonderful. Sometimes it's just hard to incorporate it into an outfit because of the proportions.
Yes, this is a very stupid face that I'm making. I managed to start packing up my clothes last night. I was only able to pack two boxes worth and then I ran out of boxing tape. I've been in Chicago since 2002, I've lived in a co-op here with 20 other people, I've graduated from college here, met my husband, got a job as a projectionist, had 2 video installations at art galleries, and a chance to screen one of my films at the Gene Siskel Film Center. I've really come a long way and it's been an incredible experience. Needless to say, packing was a very emotional experience for me. I'm closing a chapter of my life and moving on to the next one. It is very exciting, but also a bit scary.
The beginning of the packing...and yet there is still so much more to do:
Skirt: Isaac Mizrahi for Target, Thrifted ($3)
Turtleneck Sweater: L'Abeille, ebay ($10)
Blue Stripped Shirt: (Packed it up already and I don't remember what the label says), Gift ($0)
White Tights: Forever 21 ($12)
Red Mary-Janes: Payless ($15)
Ball Necklace: H&M (approx. $10)
Glasses: Anna Sui
Have a nice Sunday, it's suppose to be a little bit warmer in Chicago today!

Had a mini goodbye Cat and Jon party last night. (We're moving from Chicago back to Michigan.) I wore one of my favorite dresses for the occasion. I scored this baby off of ebay. I bought it for a philosophical rock opera film that I made when I was still in school.
I paired it with a pale yellow full skirt to add a little volume. I was a bit hesitant to add the gold socks, fearing it would be a bit too much, but I think they ended up looking good.
Until now I haven't showed my wedding ring in any posts! My husband designed it himself! There are three sunflowers. The one in the center has a regular diamond and the two on the side have brown diamonds. The part with the sunflowers is the engagement ring. The ring on top with the leaves is the wedding ring. My camera wouldn't really focus in on the details unfortunately.
Panthro had fun at the party!
